Rosa Oria of project leader Unizar and Javier Arizmendi of Zerya will participate in Green Week on behalf of the Zero Residues project.

Our project was selected to participate in the LIFE Waste Platform meeting that forms part of the Green Week 2014 on "Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency & Waste", which will take place from 3 to 5 June in Brussels.  The Green Week is organised by the European Commission and provides an opportunity for presentations, discussions and significant networking to take place among various stakeholders interested in waste, resource efficiency and circular economy.

The Waste Platform meeting aims to bring together LIFE+ projects on waste and resource efficiency in order to promote networking, explore synergies, assess policy impacts and present new LIFE regulation and its various opportunities.

It is expected that the event will attract more than 2500 visitors as well as the interest of policy makers, academics, professionals, NGOs, industry, media and the public from all over Europe. Moreover, more than 100 prominent speakers in 32 dedicated sessions covering a wide range of issues (such as policy instruments & legislation and re-use of CO2) will provide state-of-the-art knowledge and discuss the new trends.
